What Is EDM Machining?
1. How EDM Works
EDM, or Electrical Discharge Machining, uses controlled electrical sparks to erode conductive materials layer by layer. Unlike traditional cutting tools, EDM doesn’t physically touch the workpiece, making it ideal for delicate or ultra-hard materials like tungsten carbide or hardened steel.
